Cold, crisp lake
Black and white photographs
Australian accents
Kept promises
Laughing until tears fall
Simple, hearfelt notes
Pink bedsheets
Clean mountain air
Leaves changing colors
Overplayed cds
Train whistles
The scent of a mother
Baggy pajama pants
Camping in the backyard
Sunsets
Horses running
Funny collages
Purple moose
Freshly cut grass
Laughing with the family
Newly sharpened pencil
Comfy t-shirt
HUGE sunglasses
A marathon of America's Next Top Model
Genuine Smiles

Memory
My sanity
Has long flown away
My river
Has run astray
The earth shakes
But my feet are planted here
The earth breaks
But my ears, they will not hear
My breath
Has once again escaped
My mood
Has begun to change
The planets start to dwindle
That one seems so far away
The planets start to fade
That one breaks away
My head
Is in the clouds you see
My voice
Is as broken as lightning
Striking the place
Where you once stood so brave
Where all that's left is a stain
A memory
Has long flown away
My river
Has run astray
The earth shakes
But my feet are planted here
The earth breaks
But my ears, they will not hear
My breath
Has once again escaped
My mood
Has begun to change
The planets start to dwindle
That one seems so far away
The planets start to fade
That one breaks away
My head
Is in the clouds you see
My voice
Is as broken as lightning
Striking the place
Where you once stood so brave
Where all that's left is a stain
A memory
